After the power cut I had to restart the router which kept all the settings exactly as they were and it is working fine internet access and everything are fine as expected. I cut all the old connectors off which were even inside a weatherproof gang box corroded box though and just spliced power and video together wasnt spending a couple hours in traffic to go buy good connectors for an old crappy. 2On the HIKVISION DVR go to settings network configuration.
